Biography

Arlene Eaton-Erickson MSW, RSW Manager – Intake, Systemic Advocacy & Research Arlene has been a social worker for 21 years and is currently the Manager of Intake, Systemic Advocacy & Research with The Office of the Child and Youth Advocate. She was with Child and Family Services (Human Services) as a front-line worker and supervisor from 1996-2004. Arlene was the case worker attached to a high-risk youth caseload from 1999-2003, and was involved in developing the Old Strathcona Youth Society. She is co-author of a published book chapter on strategies for working with high-risk youth. Arlene is also a sessional instructor with the University of Calgary (Faculty of Social Work) and Grant MacEwan University.
